Here is the discovery chart for the Comet which is visiting us this year, with the comet shown at the end of Cancer. It will reach its closest point to the Sun on 28.Nov.13, info. provided by Jodey Collorick & Jill Shearer at their fascinating talk about comets. Very visible "great" comets may mark the beginning of new eras in some way, for example the great comet of 1680 was instrumental in establishing Newton's theory of gravity and the 1680's arguably marked the end of the religious Reformation and the establishment of the modern parliamentary system. Comet ISON appears to be orbitally related to the 1680 comet.

Thank you for this. As well as the hope with this wonderful comet, I also hope to see you all soon. (p.s. the 29 degrees may have something to do with the intensity that I am experiencing today what with Sun and Mars at 29 degrees Aries too, not that I am 'Aries Sun' ...oh, always lots I could say...too much!!! ...but I am aware that there is so much going on having a big effect for so many. All the best All
